FAQ

do you treat my condition?

I treat a wide range of conditions, including those that are difficult to diagnose, so the answer is most likely, yes. However, I specialize in both autoimmune disease, such as MS, Lupus, RA, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, and Celiac disease, and also endocrine and hormonal conditions, such as fertility and prenatal care, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, post-partum depression, hypo- and hyperthyroidism, and adrenal fatigue.

HOw can you help me?

I'm a firm believer that no two cases of any condition are exactly the same. So I treat every patient first and foremost as a person. As a doctor, my goal is to determine specific treatment guidelines that work within your unique body-mind-spirit system to bring back balance. I’ve found that when balance exists, symptoms fall away, and we’re able to handle stress and feel motivation to engage in all areas of life.

I utilize the strengths of medical diagnostic laboratory and imaging to determine the function of all physical organs within your body from the brain to the kidneys! These are then tied to pulse and tongue diagnosis utilized in Classical Chinese methodology to refine the energetic layers of organ analysis. Most importantly, your personal narrative is juxtaposed with the above assessment to determine a treatment plan that addresses all aspects of your life.

what treatments do you use?

A combination of eastern and western medicine. Though this varies by patient, it may include nutrition plans, botanical and homeopathic remedies, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and physical modalities such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping. On rare occasions, I prescribe pharmaceuticals, but only if absolutely necessary.

how long will it take?

Great question! Each case is unique but I expect noticeable improvement within 6-8 weeks of treatment. I strongly urge all new patients to commit for a defined period of time based on their unique condition. These assessments are made within the 30-minute complimentary prospective patient session.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not bill insurance however I will provide a service summary that you may submit to your insurance carrier and they will reimburse you directly. Please check with your provider before submitting receipts to determine coverage level.
